Cat Financial Launches Operations in India
Cat Financial launched its India operations with the opening of its Bangalore headquarters. It will operate under the name Cat Financial India. Cat Financial India, along with Caterpillar’s two Indian dealers, Gmmco and Gainwell Commosales, will support customers in India by offering a one stop solution for customized financial services for a range of Cat products.
National Bank of Ethiopia Grants First License to U.S.-Backed Company
The National Bank of Ethiopia granted the first financial services license to a foreign-owned company, capital lease provider Ethio Lease. Ethio Lease will address the equipment and foreign exchange shortages facing Ethiopia by providing local businesses with access to high-quality equipment.
Amur Equipment Finance Completes Seventh Securitization
Amur Equipment Finance closed its seventh term securitization, a $269.4 million notes issuance secured by small- and mid-ticket equipment loans and leases. The transaction was AmurEF’s largest issuance to-date and the first to be rated by Moody’s. KeyBanc Capital Markets served as structuring agent, bookrunner, and lead manager on the transaction, while The Williams Group served as co-manager.
