Signature Bank appointed Keith Connors to vice president, capital markets and Nick Cremonese to account officer, National Third-Party Intermediaries, a newly created position.

Connors adds additional capacity within the Capital Markets team and will contribute to the growth of the business line. He has eight years of specialty financing experience from GE and GE Capital, most recently as assistant vice president, Originations & Commercial Operations at the latter. Cremonese will manage existing third-party intermediary relationships. Prior to joining Signature, he was vice president in the Global Liquidity Program at Credit Suisse where he managed a team of business analysts and was product lead for unsecured and wholesale funding, cash products as well as loans and deposits products globally. 

Signature also promoted six professionals into new roles: Robert Campbell to director, Capital Markets; Michael Ash to group director, Regional Originations & Syndications; Steven Robbins to SVP/director of Asset Management; Steve Ratner to SVP/deputy chief risk officer; Steve Jason to group director of Vehicle Finance and Michael Jones to executive sales manager at National Direct Equipment.

John Stewart, Flushing Bank Executive, Passes Away

John F. Stewart, chief of Local Markets and Government Banking and member of the Executive Management team at Flushing Bank, passed at age 62. Stewart joined Flushing Bank in 2014 as EVP, chief of staff and was promoted to SEVP in July 2018. In his most recent role as Local Markets chief, he was responsible for growing the government, consumer and business banking customer relationships.

Holly, Coon Join Hanmi Commercial Equipment Leasing Division

Hanmi Bank’s Commercial Equipment Leasing Division added two seasoned industry veterans to its rapidly growing team. Michael Coon was hired as senior business development and capital markets officer and Maggie Holly as first VP, credit manager.

Chemical Financial, TCF Announce Post-Merger Executive Appointments

Chemical Financial and TCF Financial plan on making several new executive leadership appointments for the combined company after closing their merger of equals. Craig Dahl, the current chairman and CEO of TCF, will become CEO and president of the new TCF and CEO of the combined bank. David Provost, the current CEO and president of Chemical, will become chairman of TCF.

Adiletta Joins M&T Bank as VP, Commercial Equipment Finance

Mark Adiletta joined M&T Bank as VP, group manager for the Commercial Equipment Finance Division. In his new role, Adiletta will be responsible for managing all aspects of equipment financing within the division’s Renewable Energy, Large Ticket Transactional and Transactional Sourcing groups.



SunTrust Vet Thompson Joins TriState as SVP in Equipment Finance

Eric Thompson joined TriState Capital Bank as senior vice president/credit manager of equipment finance. Thompson previously served as a senior portfolio manager at SunTrust Equipment Finance before working at M&T Bank as a business and middle market banking portfolio manager.

Wells Fargo Equipment Finance Promotes Thomason to Head of Operations

Wells Fargo Equipment Finance promoted Lisa Thomason to lead its operations team. Thomason will be based in Moberly, MO and report to Lisa Sawyers, head of Operations for Wells Fargo Commercial Capital. She joined Wells Fargo in 2016 through the GE Capital acquisition.

Jones, Fate Join Stonebriar Commercial Finance

Stewart Jones and Grant Fate joined Stonebriar Commercial Finance as senior investment manager and associate, capital markets, respectively. Jones will primarily focus on underwriting general equipment transactions supporting Stonebriar’s expanded originations staff. Fate will work on business development in Stonebriar’s Capital Markets and Direct Originations groups.

C.H. Brown Promotes Marshall to President

C.H. Brown promoted Bradon R. Marshall to president. Marshall will be based in the Wheatland, WY headquarters. He succeeds company co-founder Chuck H. Brown, who will continue to have a strong association with the company while the day-to-day operations becomes Marshall’s responsibility.
