Ritchie Bros. Reports Q2/2019 Results, Names Interim Co-CEOs
Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers reported results for the second quarter of 2019. Net income attributable to stockholders increased 18% to $54 million, compared to the same period in 2018. Ritchie Bros.’ board also named CFO Sharon Driscoll and International President Karl Werner interim co-CEOs of the company, in addition to their current roles, concurrent with current CEO Ravi Saligram’s departure.

Thirty-five-year industry veteran Greg O’Brien has been named division executive for the Northeast Division. Based in Boston, O’Brien will oversee 14 commercial banking teams and report to Kristin Lesher, head of Wells Fargo Commercial Banking’s East Region.
Malcolm C. Lindquist, Former ELFA Legal Committee Member, Passes Away
Malcolm C. Lindquist, a former member of the ELFA Legal Committee and an active participant in the ELFA Legal Forum, died on Sunday, August 4, after losing a battle with cancer. Lindquist’s practice at Lane Powell concentrated on commercial finance, equipment leasing and the Uniform Commercial Code. He was also an elected member of the American Law Institute and Fellow of the American Bar Foundation.
